Dallin grew up in central Washington’s Kittitas Valley, where his family operates a hay processing and exporting company. While various projects around the homeplace kept he and his six siblings busy, they would spend their teenage years supporting the family’s extensive hay harvest throughout the PNW. After doing a two-year mission trip to Puerto Rico, he went on to obtain an Ag-Business degree at BYU-Idaho, and finally an MBA at Willamette University’s Atkinson Graduate School of Management in 2013.
After grad school, he and his young family found themselves in the San Francisco Bay Area where he worked in technology sales and consulting. In 2017, an opportunity to return home and serve the Ag community presented itself through commercial and crop insurance. Dallin brings now 6 years of experience writing property & casualty for concerns up and down the agricultural value chain and building a sizable revenue protection portfolio for livestock producers. Due to demand within our customer base, Dallin co-founded and heads Graybeal Carbon, LLC which aims to partner with our insureds in consultation and development of carbon projects, as well as Graybeal Risk Management, LLC aimed at helping producers manage price risk through commodities futures.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, recreating on water or snow, and serving in his local congregation.
